Returns Policy
Medicines
We're unable to accept the return of medicines, prescription or over-the-counter, once they've left the pharmacy — even if you've changed your mind, no longer need them, or have already paid a prescription charge. Once a medicine leaves our premises we can no longer be certain how it's been stored, so for your safety we cannot put it back into stock, exchange it, or refund it.
If you have unwanted or out-of-date medicines, bring them to any Knights Pharmacy and our team will dispose of them safely, free of charge. Please don't put medicines in your household bin or down the sink.
Other products
The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations give you 28 calendar days from the date you received or collected non-medicine item(s) to return them if you're not completely happy. Items must be returned in the condition you received them, which includes keeping any hygiene seals in place.
You will lose your right to return an item if you unseal a product that needs to be sealed for health or hygiene reasons — this covers most cosmetics, toiletries, vitamins and supplements, baby feeding and skincare products, and continence or sexual health items.
You have the right to reasonably inspect your items in the shop, but you cannot return items you have used, unless you are returning them because they are damaged or faulty.
Wrong item or dispensing error
If you believe you've been given the wrong medicine or dose, or you've received a damaged or faulty item, please stop using it and bring it back to us as soon as possible with your receipt or dispensing label. Speak to the pharmacist on duty — we'll investigate straight away and put it right at no cost to you.
