Chicken Pox Treatments – Which one do you need?

In this article, we explain a bit about what Chicken Pox is and what treatments are available to treat the very common viral condition.

What is Chicken Pox?

Chickenpox is a prevalent and generally mild ailment that affects the majority of children at one time or another.

The condition results in a rash of itchy, red spots that transform into fluid-filled blisters. These blisters eventually form scabs that crust over and ultimately fall off.

The number of spots varies among children; some may have only a few, while others could experience spots covering their entire body. These spots are most commonly found on the face, ears, and scalp, as well as under the arms, on the chest and abdomen, and on the arms and legs.

Chickenpox Treatment Overview

Although chickenpox is generally regarded as a mild condition in children, it can cause significant discomfort and irritability during its course. In the first few days of the illness, your child may experience a fever. The spots associated with chickenpox can be extremely itchy.
