How can i dispose of medicines safely?

The best way to dispose of medicines that are no longer needed is to return them to your local pharmacy.

This is a completly free service to you and available at every Knights pharmacy.

Try to return the unwanted medicines in their original packages when possible as some medicines may need special handling and always be sure to disclose whether there is any sharp or controlled medication.

Never dispose of medicines down the sink or toilet because it will become a hazard to the environment and water supply.
